Construction starts with a standard size Postal approved steel mailbox. We then adhere the cedar sides and slats to encase the mailbox. Before assembling the door we rout a half inch finger groove in the back of the arched cedar hand-pull for easy opening of the door.
Each part, from the highest grade western red cedar, to the arched cedar hand-pull, are fastened and adhered to the steel mailbox with the strongest bonding agents on the market today to create a permanent bond that will last for years to come.
